He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Adriana Carvalho (Almada); and his siblings, Jose Carvalho, Etelvina Curvelo and Joao Pacheco. He is survived by: his children, Maria Ines Driscoll (Kevin) of Yarmouth and Joe Manuel Reis (Carolyn) of Bridgewater; his grandchildren, Laura, Adriana, Nolan, Andrew, James and Vanessa; his great grandchildren, Mariana, Elena, Weston, Nathan, Jack and Michael; and his siblings, Maria Jose Leal and Mario Reis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Bridgewater (98 Bedford St, Bridgewater, MA 02324). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church (103 Center St, Bridgewater, MA 02324).
