She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah McCarthy and Margaret McCarthy (Hilferty); her husband James Romero; and her siblings, Russell McCarthy and Margaret Mullaley.
She is survived by: her sons, James Romero, Jr. (Janice) of Riegelwood, Sean T. Romero of Quincy and Gregory Romero of Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Michael Romero of Jamaica Plain and Jennifer Romero of Dorchester; her goddaughter Maureen Mullaley of Wareham; and her brother-in-law Joseph Mullaley of Bridgewater.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Bridgewater (98 Bedford St, Bridgewater, MA 02324). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery (103 Center St, Bridgewater, MA 02324).
