He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Evelyn "Jean" Novak (Fuller) and Robert Novak; his wife Anne Novak (Wusteney) of Bridgewater; his children, Paul Novak Jr. (Thelma) of Illinois, Paula Baines (Ron) of Maine, Clint Novak of South Boston, Robert Novak (Kristen) of New Hampshire, Michael Novak of Boston, Lisa Novak of Lynn and Mark Sullivan (Gloria) of Columbia; his grandson Michael Sullivan of Bridgewater; his sisters, Annette McGuire (Bob) of New Hampshire and Dolores Tremblay (Ray) of Norton; and his friend John Quirk (Aida). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
