He was predeceased by: his parents, William Newell and Elsie Newell (Langford); and his son Fred Corbitt. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Newell (Sullivan); his children, Brian Corbitt of Whitman, Michelle Drosos (John) of Bridgewater and John Newell (Kristin) of Carver; and his grandchildren, Jason, Evan, Peter, Lauren, Jenna, Sarah, Mallory and Melissa. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Whitman Veterans Service in Wendell's memory.
