William Fitzgerald Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate William Fitzgerald of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on July 11, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Fitzgerald (Patrick); and his siblings, Joseph Fitzgerald and Sheila Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his children, Kara Fitzgerald of Bridgewater, Laura Solorzano (Chris) of Roslindale and Erin Fitzgerald Gately (Timothy) of Leominster; his grandchildren, Molly of Bridgewater, Brady of Bridgewater and Colby of Bridgewater; and his brother John Fitzgerald (Tina) of California. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Bridgewater (98 Bedford St, Bridgewater, MA 02324). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery (103 Center St, Bridgewater, MA 02324).
