He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald F. Bowen and Frances V. Bowen (McGuiness); and his brother John. He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Bowen of Marshfield and Montreal; his sisters, Jean of Brighton and Joanne LaFerrara of Taunton; and his sister-in-law Jill Bowen of Walpole. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made in Dennis' name to the Marist Hill Rehabilitation Center at 66 Newton St, Waltham, MA 02154 as a thank you to the wonderful Hospice Staff.

“I am very sad to hear about Dennis from his brother David. I will miss him deeply. Dennis and I go back quite a few years and I know he was the kind of man you want in your life. His selflessness,caring, humble attitude toward people weather it was helping the homeless with a shower,clothes, food,and thought he didn't have much he gave generously when he could. Only thing he would not shut up about was how proud he was of his son. Every day during every cribbage game. Scott #857-880-7951”
