He was predeceased by: his parents, William J Christie and Florence Christie (Rufo); his siblings, Jean Testa (late Vinny), Janet Christie, William "Red" Christie and Larry Christie (Megan Carney); Lorraine Christie (Fargo).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Christie (Grealish); his children, Kimberly Schindler (Thomas) of Abington, Nicole McMahon of Braintree, Jennifer Christie (Greg MacLeay) of Norwood, Billy Christie (Tiffany Mastroianni) of Brighton and Robert Christie (Tiffany) of Framingham; his grandchildren, Thomas, Ryan, Dillon, Alyssa, Gianna and Jace; and his brother George Christie (Margie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home (63 Chestnut Hill Ave, Brighton, MA 02135). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Columbkille Church (321 Market St, Brighton, MA 02135). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
