He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Moran and Ellen Moran (Duggan); his wife Mary Moran (Connell); his siblings, Thomas of County Galway, Katie of County Galway and Bryan of County Galway; and his grandfather Moose.

He is survived by : his children, Bernadette Moran Lally (Tom) of Allston, Dianne Moran of Brighton and Shaun Moran (Paula) of Arlington; his grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Kaley, Kyra, Emily, Erin, Eleanor and Adelaide; and his sisters, Evelyn Duggan of County Galway and Margaret Lenihan of County Galway. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
