Sum Har Ho Obituary
We announce the death of Sum Har Ho of Brighton, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 85. Sum will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Sum will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Sum will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Sum’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Benny Nam Ho; her children, Thomas Ho (Susan) of Brighton and Anthony Ho (Willy Chung) of Brighton; her granddaughter Marissa Ho of Brighton; and her siblings, Kit Ha Lu (Kwong Tung) of Sham Chun and Shiu Kei Lu of West Roxbury.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. James the Greater Church (125 Harrison Ave, Boston, MA 02111).
