We announce the death of Arrington R. Parker Jr. (Brockton, Massachusetts), born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Frances Parker (Norman) and Arrington Rochell Parker Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Haines Parker, Bryant Lee, Sharneatha, Sheppard and Kira Ford; his grandchildren, Aayvion Parker, Thomas, Renee Ford, Dejanae Sheppard, Tiara Lewis, Jamari Gavin, Aaniylah Freeman and Arrington Freeman; his siblings, Diann Moore-Holmes, Edith M. Parker-Hawkins, Melvin Parker Sr., Latonya "Dee-Dee" Andrews, Charlette Parker-Edwards, Tomeka Mackey, Bakari Mackey, Derrick Combs and Michael Pettijohn; and his former wife Rosalind S. Thomas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, loved ones, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home (165 Belmont St, Brockton, MA 02301). Viewing was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
