He is survived by: his sister Frances (Charlie Lindgren); and his children, Paul (Teresa Carriere), Pamela (Walter Oliwa), Julie (Steve Martin), James (Wendy Carriere), Lisa (Christian Magel), Thomas Carriere of Enfield, CT, Erin (Matthias Kretschmer), Michael (Danielle Carriere) and Nicholas Carriere of West Bridgewater, MA. He is also survived by his eighteen grandchildren.
