Chester Hunter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Hunter of Brockton, Massachusetts, born in Sawyerville, Alabama, who passed away on October 23, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Hattie Hunter; his daughter Cynthia Hunter; and his siblings, Dorothy J. Wilson, Narcissy Bagowitz and Floyd Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Hunter, Jayson Hunter and Joyce Salami; his grandchildren, Jasmine Monteiro, Jayla Hunter and Leah Salami; and his sisters, Yulac Kindell of Opelika and Sammie L. Kindell of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
