She was predeceased by: her father Joseph G. DeVita. She is survived by: her mother Barbara J. Costa; her stepfather John Costa of Kingston; her siblings, Joe A. DeVita of Atlanta, Georgia and Juleen R. Freitas; her brother-in-law Edward Freitas; and her nephew Luke Freitas of Mansfield.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bartlett Funeral Home (338 Court St, Plymouth, MA 02360). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Cindy's honor to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), supporting advocacy, education, and resources for individuals and families affected by mental illness.
