It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Francis Baker Jr. of Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward F. Baker and Marie L. Baker (Mitchell); his wife Judith Baker (Jones); his siblings, Christopher Baker (Laura) of Abington and Nancy Baker Fowler (Mark) of Hopkinton; his siblings-in-law, William Jones (Catherine) of Conway, SC and Thomas Jones (Susan Jones) of Sebring, FL.; his nieces and nephews, Christopher Charles Fowler, Paris Marie Baker, Julia Marie Fowler, Liliana Regina Baker and Oliver Edward Baker; and his pet Gracie. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cartwright Funeral Home - Holbrook (69 S Franklin St, Holbrook, MA 02343). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (153 S Franklin St, Holbrook, MA 02343).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 504 RXR Plaza, Uniondale, NY 11556, or to the PFFM Foundation, 2 Center Plaza, Suite 4m Boston, MA 02108 (foundation supports cancer screenings for firefighters).
