She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Shimkus and Evelyn I. Shimkus (Kavalch); her husband Arthur D. Martin; her brother Michael Shimkus; and her niece Toni Spurgeon.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Martin (Maureen) of Brockton, Christopher Martin of Easton and Jennifer Hardy (Michael) of Brockton; her grandchildren, Cory Nelson, Chris Moreira, Benjamin Martin, Adam Martin, Matthew Matta and Nicholas Matta; her great grandchildren, Riley, Mila and Carson; her nieces, Tina Sbardella (Joe) and Tania Shimkus; her nephew Michael Shimkus; her sister-in-law Judith Valatkevicz (Martin); and her nieces, Sue Kiefer and Amy Bates.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Waitt Funeral Home (850 N Main St, Brockton, MA 02301). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to St. Joseph Manor Healthcare or Sunset Hospice Services.
