He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine O'Brien and Francis E. "Pat" O'Brien; and his wife Dorothy "Dot" M. O'Brien (O'Connell). He is survived by: his sons, Shawn O'Brien of Englewood, Colorado and Daniel O'Brien (Laura) of Pound Ridge; his grandchildren, Emma Duncan (Christian) of Rowayton and Nolan O'Brien of Chicago, Illinois.; and his siblings, Patricia "Patsy" LaCouture (late David), David (Claire), John (late Kathleen) and James O'Brien (Rita). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
