He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy J Nelson and Ruth Marie Nelson (Ostrom); and his sister Barbara Ann Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Nelson (Meade); his daughters, Stephanie Langer (Tom) of New Hampshire and Victoria EIleisy of Virginia; his sister Donnamarie Nelson; his grandchildren, Austin Nelson (Emily Faiella), Collin Langer and Madison Langer; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Nelson and Penelope Nelson.

Donations in his name may be made to a charity of ones choice.
