It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry G. Burns Jr. of Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry G. Burns and Lorraine J. Burns (Murphy); and his son Harry G. Burns, III. He is survived by: his wife Karen A. Burns (Madden); his son Daniel J. Burns (Katie) of Berkley; his granddaughter Evelyn Grace Burns; his stepchildren, Matthew Downey (Christina) of Loudon and Meghan Bernabeo (Michael); his stepgrandchildren, Aubree, Avianna and Lincoln of Middleboro; and his stepson Mason Downey of Brockton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A wake was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Joyce Funeral Home (245 Main St, Waltham, MA 02453). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the Linwood Cemetery (170 Boston Post Rd, Weston, MA 02493).
