With sadness, we share the passing of Howard B. Carter Jr. (Brockton, Massachusetts). Howard, born on January 28, 1929, passed away on July 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Awilder Thomas Carter and Howard Bruce Carter Sr. Howard Sr.; and his brother Vernon Thomas Carter. He is survived by: his children, Howard Bertrand of Kingston, Mass, Tanja Delagardo of Wareham Mass, Tanya Mcmillian Gergia (Henry) and Dorren Smiyh (Athur) of Florida; his niece Vernia Toyia Carter of Attleboro; and his friend Lillian.
Due to COVID, Howard was no longer able to travel the New England area to educate schools and the community about the Tuskegee Airmen.
