He is survived by: his children, James Barnes Jr., Jamie Barnes and Tressa Barnes; his siblings, Alvin Sharp (Janice), Debbra Garrett, Vernetter Riley (Robert) and Eunice Tenort; his grandchildren, Taliyah, Emani, Zaquan, Malachi and Demetrius; and his great grandchild Zaylise.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel (238 Court St, Brockton, MA 02302). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
