She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Standish Thompson and Beatrice Bernice Johnson (Pitman); and her siblings, Richard, Laurie B. Keefer, Sally M. Genuardi and Susan P. Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen R. Vieu of Gardner, Mary E. Vieu of Orange, Alan M. Vieu Jr. (Marie) of Holyoke and Brian T Vieu of Athol; her sisters, Christine Holmes of Tennessee, Jane Waters of New Hampshire and Tracy (Estell); and her grandchildren, Amber Aguilera, Joseph Vieu, Abigail Vieu and Jacob Vieu. She is also survived by many other grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
