She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Eduardo Fontes; her son Zimas Olimpio Gomes Fontes; her siblings, Joao G Vaz, Berta Gomes Almeida and Carminda Gomes; and her grandchildren, Kenneth C. Fontes, Ziahnna M Fontes and Zion M Fontes.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home (165 Belmont St, Brockton, MA 02301). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
