She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary P Gomes (Almeida) and Ernie Gomes; her child Annamarie Thimas (Pebbles); her sister Rosalind Gomes (Rozzy); and her brother-in-law Dave Simison.

She is survived by: her husband Francis Simison; her grandchildren, Michelle Gomes, Anita Gomes and Richard Thimas; her great grandchildren, Lilyanna Damon, Richard Thimas Jr., Alexia Thimas, Tatiana Betancourt and Manuel Bullock (Chase); her siblings-in-law, Michael Twomey, Joan, John and Nancy Simison; and her brother Phillip Gomes. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
