He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jane FitzSimmons (Dunford); his children, Aaron FitzSimmons (Erin) of Swanton, VT, Ryan FitzSimmons (Stephanie) of Brockton and Mark FitzSimmons of Brockton; his grandchildren, Alex, Sophie FitzSimmons, Alessia, Carson and Coleman Corbiere; and his siblings, Susan Burns (Dan) of Enosburg, VT, Carol Fontinha (Richard) of Marshill, ME, James FitzSimmons of West Bridgewater, Julie Chartier (George Tavares) of Hadley, Ann Tucker (William) of Barrington, NH, Joseph FitzSimmons (Jennifer) of St. Albans, VT, Janet Wells (Paul) and Mary FitzSimmons (Rick Bence) of Swansea. He was also cherished by his family, especially his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
