He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Dottie); his children, Paul Jason Ruokis (Vandna), Michael Ruokis and Ashley (Joshua Naginewicz) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Reena, Ryan, Lola and Liam; his nieces and nephews, Kelly, Kathy, Samantha and Peter; his brothers, Peter (Pia) and Philip (Lisa); and his sibling-in-law Charlie (Debbie).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any outdoor-related charity, conservation group, or meaningful cause, honoring his lifelong love of the outdoors.
