It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. McAteer of Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Anne Comoletti. He is survived by: his wife Pat (McDonagh); his daughters, Kristin McAteer of Plymouth and April Bradshaw of Watertown; his grandchildren, Shawn McAteer, Carter and Benjamin Bradshaw; and his siblings, Anthony McAteer, Eleanor Margeson, Theresa Comoletti, Anne Comoletti, Margaret Huyghe, Michael Comoletti, Charles Comoletti, Patricia Comoletti and Christopher Comoletti. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
