With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Gomes De Miranda of Brockton, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Rita Gomes De has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate our lives in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Pedro Miranda and Otelia Daveiga; and her son Manuel Miranda. She is survived by : her children, Miguel Miranda and Maria Veiga. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Lopes Funeral Home-Brockton (647 Main St, Brockton, MA 02301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the George Lopes Funeral Home (647 Main St, Brockton, MA 02301). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:30 PM at the Melrose Cemetery (88 N Pearl St, Brockton, MA 02301).
