In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Macomber and Nora L. Macomber (McGrath); and his wife Kathleen A. Macomber (Currivan). He is survived by: his children, Kevin and Shawn Macomber of Brockton; his stepdaughter Kathleen Currivan of Tampa, Florida; and his siblings, Noreen Fitzgibbons (Donald Santos) of Bridgewater, Patricia Macomber of East Bridgewater, Susan Reardon (James) of Sagamore Beach and Michael Macomber (Erika Franz) of Brockton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waitt Funeral Home (850 N Main St, Brockton, MA 02301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Edith Stein Church (71 E Main St, Brockton, MA 02301).
