She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Jones and Ruby [Franks] Jones; her daughter Ruby; her stepdaughter Cindy Hershenson (Herbert Hershenson); and her sisters, Eunice Bettis and Dianne Yelder.

She is survived by : her children, Jose Echevarria, Santa Echevarria, Juan A. [Landa] Echevarria and Ursula Echevarria; her grandchildren, Danielle, Mahammed, Sadiat (Ruby), Candice, Tiffany, Maurice, Marquise, Ciara, Zaniyah, Zaliyah, Messiah (Jose), Brandon, Antonio, Cameron, Kearrah (Juan A.), Joshua, Areon, James and Jeremiah (Ursula); her children, Lorenzo Spencer and India Smith; her grandchildren, Michelle Smith and Dominica Smith; her siblings, Graylin, Joyce (Hamilton) and Paulette Manon; and her pet Simba. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the George Lopes Funeral Home (821 Cummins Hwy, Mattapan, MA 02126). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
