He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Melanson and Helen Melanson (Walsh); and his siblings, June Melanson, Mark Melanson and Peter Melanson.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Melanson (Berglund); his children, Lisa Farmer (Jonathan) of Yarmouth, Paul Melanson (Brooke) of Rockland, Kelly Melanson (Patrick Derosier) of Whitman and Michael Melanson (Lisa) of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Alissa Farmer, Jonathan Farmer, Ashley Mello, Matthew Melanson, Peter Melanson, Raegan Derosier and Max Melanson; his great grandchildren, Nicholas and Finnick Mello; his siblings, Bruce Melanson, Bryan Melanson and Lauren Sparks (Melanson); and his pets, Penny and Chloe. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, friends, cousins, nieces, nephews.
