She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanislaw Schultz and Delia Schultz (Ambrose); her brothers, Paul and Jeffrey Schultz; and her niece Jessica Treem.

She is survived by: her husband Paul McCarthy; her siblings, Peter Schultz (Lori) of Tewksbury, Nancy Schultz of Townsend and Laura Lavigne (Joe) of Waltham; her siblings' children, Eric Treem (Sara) of Georgetown, Amy Lavigne of Waltham, Jen Lavigne of San Diego, CA and Derek Lavigne of Waltham; her great-nieces, Ava, Lila and Violet Treem of Georgetown; her great-nephew Ian Duffy of Marshfield; her pet Chopper; and her friend Robin Garside. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
