He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Norton Sawyer; and his wife Gloria Lane Rose. He is survived by: his father Charles Augustus; and his children, Charles Norton Sawyer Jr. (Patty) of Charlottesville, VA, Dr. Daniel Sawyer (Donna) of Scottsville, VA, Cheryl Krisko (Rich) of Beverly, MA, Dana Sawyer of Naples, ME, Julie O'Brien (Kevin) of Topsfield, MA and Laurie Hunt (Tim) of Essex, MA.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
