He was predeceased by: his father Walter Hiltz; his stepfather Walter Moister; and his son Jeffrey Hiltz. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Johnson; his mother Lucille Moister (Meuse) of Malden; his daughters, Sandra Paine (Morgan Paine) of Chelmsford and Ryan Johnson (Corin Cutter) of Farmington, NH.; his brother Keith Hiltz (Cheryl) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Cameron Lacroix-Hiltz of Danvers and Jackson Johnson of South Carolina; his nephews, Josh Hiltz (Erin) of Stoneham, Eric Hiltz (Kelly) of Lexington and Michael Hiltz (Eva) of Billerica; and his cousin Edith Berry of Everett.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home (43 Winn St, Burlington, MA 01803). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
