He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold V. Nelson and Frances E. Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Pat Nelson (Schofield); his children, Karen Carten (David) of Burlington and Brian Nelson of Burlington; his grandsons, Bradford and Andrew Carten; and his great grandchildren, Arnold and Grayson Carten.
