We announce the death of Dolores A. Dawson (Burlington, Massachusetts), born in Arlington, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 87. Dolores will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward J. Dawson; her parents, Eugene DeCarpis and Mary DeCarpis (Sansone); and her daughter Denise Longo. She is survived by: her daughters, Jeannine Gagne (Robert) of Chester, NH and Michelle Rogers (Joseph Rogers, Jr.) of Haverhill; her grandchildren, Anthony Longo, Jr., Jessica Flynn, Derek Rogers, Lauren Rogers, Danielle DeVits and Nicole Gagne; her great grandchildren, Carli Rose Clay, Mackenzie Clay, Braelynn Clay, Bennett Flynn, Bridgette Flynn and Charlotte DeVits; her sister Joyce Rinaldi; and her daughter Andrea Hilse. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home (43 Winn St, Burlington, MA 01803). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
