George L. Doble of Burlington, Massachusetts passed away on September 14, 2026. George, born on April 16, 1945, shared life alongside family, friends, and others. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Doble and Angeline Doble (Testen); and his sisters, Patricia Loopman and Mary Ann Magin. He is survived by: his significant other Judy Walker; his sons, Gregg Doble (Laura) of North Reading and Marc Doble (Jean) of Newbury Park, CA; his grandchildren, Trevor Wilson, Kevin Doble, Parker Doble, Mary Doble and Siena Doble; his siblings, John Doble, Jean Ryan, Rose Dickinson and Loretta Bellenger; and his pets, Finn and Henry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home (43 Winn St, Burlington, MA 01803). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when local students suddenly found themselves learning remotely from home, George recognized a need and decided to do something about it.
