He is survived by: his friends, Ron Via and Bob Simmons; his wife Carolyn Cusolito-Tavares; his daughter Lauren Tavares of Jamaica Plain; and his siblings, LeRoy Tavares (Ruth) of Austin, TX, Viana Tavares-Fischer of Tampa, FL and Felecia Tavares (Loren Anderson) of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by three loving nieces and many other dear relatives and friends.
