Lawrence Porter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Lawrence Porter of Burlington, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Lawrence departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lawrence may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lawrence leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wendall and Mary E. Porter (Brown); and his brother William W. Porter, Jr.. He is survived by: his niece Joyce McFarland (Gary) of South Yarmouth; and his great-niece Virginia Barry (Jim) of Walpole. He is also survived by children; and several great grand nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gethsemane Cemetery (670 Baker St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
