It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael R. Phelan (Burlington, Massachusetts), who passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Phelan and Juliette Phelan (Gosselin); his sister Louise Gilblair; and his sister-in-law Maryellen Caramanis. He is survived by: his close friend Kevin Fields; his wife Sharon Phelan (Sullivan); his siblings, Richard Phelan (Terry) of Tewksbury and Thomas Phelan of Bangor, ME; and his siblings-in-law, Ernie Caramanis of Tewksbury, Patricia Sullivan of Kennebunkport, ME, Elizabeth Luz of Waltham, Irene Sullivan of Burlington, Paul Sullivan and Donald Sullivan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home (43 Winn St, Burlington, MA 01803).
