He is survived by: his wife Carol (Lesar); his sons, Daniel Atanasov (Judith Christa) of Blackstone and Nicholas Atanasov; his grandchildren, Caroline Atanasov, Christian Atanasov and Jason Atanasov; and his siblings, Helen J. Yanefski (late Kirk) and Kiro Atanasov (Sarah) of Saugus. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home (43 Winn St, Burlington, MA 01803). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (70 Montvale Ave, Woburn, MA 01801). A burial will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Woodbrook Cemetery.
