He was predeceased by: his parents, George Griffin and Louisa Griffin (Merrill); his wife Joanne (Ganley); his sister Karen Parsons; and his siblings-in-law, James "Jimmy" Parsons and Kay Griffin.
He is survived by: his children, Samantha Abbott (Kyle) of Merrimac, Jennifer Bray (Jon) of Montague and Shaun Griffin (Heidi) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Sophia Grifffin, Gavin Abbott, Tyler Bray, Molly Griffin, Alanna Abbott and Hunter Bray; his brother Donald Griffin of Bradenton, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Ganley (Susan) of Burlington, Colleen Vandaway (Bob) of Indiana, Jackie Ganley (Kelly) of Lynn and David Ganley (Robin) of Mansfield.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home (43 Winn St, Burlington, MA 01803). A graveside service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Chestnut Hill Cemetery (52 Bedford St, Burlington, MA 01803).
