He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smilgis and Anna Smilgis (Dailedenas). He is survived by: his wife Sally Smilgis (Riley); his sons, Steven Smilgis (Cheryl) of Billerica and Bob Smilgis (Nikita) of Rockville, MD; and his grandchildren, Timmy Smilgis, Amanda Smilgis, Jennifer Smilgis and Stephanie (Stephen Romanic). He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home (43 Winn St, Burlington, MA 01803). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Pine Haven Cemetery (84 Bedford St, Burlington, MA 01803).
