Robert J. Cogliano Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert J. Cogliano of Burlington, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert J. Cogliano to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Cogliano and Marie Cogliano; his wife Joan E. Cogliano of Burlington; and his sisters, Marie Flanagan, Ruth Cogliano, Joan Cogliano and Ann Cogliano.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Virginia and Jim; his children, Cheryl Stanton (Daniel) of Burlington, Steven Cogliano (Mary) of Mechanicsville, VA and Debra Thompson (Michael) of Sanford, Florida.; his grandchildren, Laura Schreiber (Jonathan), James Stanton (Leah), Sarah Cogliano, Christopher Cogliano, Collin Thompson (Sydnie) and Sean Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Evan Schreiber and Emma Stanton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home (43 Winn St, Burlington, MA 01803). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Malachy's Church (99 Bedford St, Burlington, MA 01803).
