Stephen A. Ghio Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen A. Ghio of Burlington, Massachusetts, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 24, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Ghio and Joan Ghio; and also Karen Hannon of Billerica. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Zwicker; his children, Stephen Ghio, Jr. of Ashland, Kevin Ghio (Amrita) of Sturbridge and Amy Mahoney (Brian) of Harvard; his grandchildren, Emma, Patrick and Rafael; his siblings, Karen Poulin (Jim Poulin) of Carver, Andrew Ghio (Beth Ann) of Chapel Hill, NC, Peter Ghio (Noreen) of Burlington, Paul Ghio of Gardner and David Ghio (Sharon) of Burlington; and also, Lorraine McCarty of Stoneham and Arthur Zwicker of Burlington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 10:30 PM to 12:30 AM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home (43 Winn St, Burlington, MA 01803). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Pine Haven Cemetery (84 Bedford St, Burlington, MA 01803).
