He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin L. Hixson and Clara Mae Hixson (Walton); and his siblings, Arthur Hixson and Marian Driscoll. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn A. Hixson (Meau) of Buzzards Bay; and his children, Donald "Eddie" Hixson, II (Marie) of New Hampton, NH, Pamela DiTomasso (late Lorenzo) of Buzzards Bay, Rand A. Hixson of Wareham and Frederick Hixson (Keri) of Wrentham. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
