He is survived by: his children, Lauren Henderson (Robbie) of Southport, NC, Kendra Connell (Bill), Marcia Giorgio (Stephen) of Southport, NC and Christopher Sullivan (Jamie); his grandchildren, Johanna, Jessie, Kaitlin, Benjamin, Rachel, Emma, Matthew, Paige and Christopher; and his great grandchildren, Shepherd, Bray and Bryson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
