He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Brendli and Philip Brendli Sr.; his brother James Brendli; his sister-in-law Barbara Brendli; and his uncle Francis Quinlan.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Brendli; his children, Craig Brendli (Robert Grasing) of Poughkeepsie, Blair Amara (Samuel) of Marstons Mills and Rebecca Salgado (Joseph) of Bourne, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Grant, Griffin, Rio, Bianca and Indigo; his siblings, Steve Brendli of Patchogue, Lorraine Robinson (Martin) of Center Moriches and Patricia Bohlert (Patrick) of Medford; and his aunt Christine Quinlan of Patchogue. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Philip's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
