He was predeceased by: his parents, Gianni Kainamisis and Parthena Kainamisis (Komatidou); and his brother Stelios Kainamisis. He is survived by: his wife Helen Kainamisis (Kontos) of Cambridge; his children, Virginia Kainamisis of Lowell and Jonathan Kainamisis (Sandra Caban) of Lowell; his grandchildren, Alexander and Evander; his sister Athanasia Barkitzis of Ptolemaida, Greece; his sibling's children, Grigori Barkitzis, Gianni Barkitzis, Maria Spitzer, Evan Spitzer, Tina Georgiopoulos and Sammy Georgiopoulos; and his sister-in-law Anna Kontos of Watertown.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonough Funeral Home (14 Highland St, Lowell, MA 01852). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (62 Lewis St, Lowell, MA 01854).
