It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine N. Ellis of Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Thomas Mont of Halifax and Catherine Mary Mont (Sheehan) of Cork County, Ireland.; and her sister Diane Mont Costa. She is survived by: her brother Joseph Mont (Marguerite) of Braintree, MA; her husband Walter "Sonny" Ellis; her children, John Ellis, Karen Ellis (Terry Goss) and Noreen Wheaton (Robert Wheaton); her grandchildren, Nicole Houston, Patrick Houston (Jeneve), Catherine Martin (Alex), Charles Shuman and Alexander Wheaton; her great grandchildren, Maya Shuman, Mila Houston, Etta Houston, Lucille Houston, Allison Martin and Sierra Martin; and her aunt Kay.
