He is survived by: his children, Susan (Mark Connolly), Allan (Eliza Royal), David (Cindy Royal) and Claude Royal Jr.; his grandchildren, Nicole, Sajai Borromeo, Renee Royal, Douglas, Adele Royal, Chelsea, Lee Ryan, Bryan, Haley Royal, Katie Royal, Keegan Connolly, Gannon Connolly, Maggie Royal, Sam Royal and Julia Royal; and his siblings, Guy Royal, Gerald Royal, Madeleine Blankenship, Joycelyn Royal and Allan Royal. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Auburn Cemetery (580 Mt Auburn St, Cambridge, MA 02138).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claude's name to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society/Saint Catherine Conference, 2 West St., Westford, MA 01886.
